Water and humidity feed the insects
The two lakes maintain a high level of humidity that softens the wood of chalets, ideal ground for carpenter ants. We treat the at-risk wood as much as the insect.
Chalet construction lets pests through
Many buildings are older houses, sometimes unoccupied during the week and with poorly insulated wood. It is an open door for rodents, which we close through perimeter exclusion.

Rats
The shores of the two lakes can bring brown rats toward waterfront chalets. Careful exclusion of access points and secured baits out of reach of animals.
Bed bugs
A trip home or a used piece of furniture can bring bed bugs into a bedroom in the Domaine. We target the mattress, box spring and baseboards with a targeted treatment, without throwing out the furniture.
Wasps
Chalet eaves and sheds give wasps nesting sites at the water’s edge. Safe removal at height and sealing of the access points to prevent their return.
